Casablanca by night
The mid-eighteenth century, the Sultan Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah decided to rebuild the ruins of ancient Anfa (the hill), Berber town founded in the seventh century. Partially surrounded by ramparts, the old Medina, with its maze of streets and stalls, reveals thousands of small businesses.
The 30s
Hassan II Mosque - Casablanca
In the 30s, Casablanca became the showcase of the architecture of that period. Along the sea, between the El Hank lighthouse and Sidi Bou Abderrahmane marabout (village accessible only at low tide), this is sometimes rocky coast seaside annex of Casablanca. One can enjoy a drink while watching the sunset. Later in the evening, discos continuing animation of a city deemed never sleep.
